Architecture-Inspired Streetwear & Illustration Process
What’s going on everyone?
Recently, I challenged myself to explore more architecture-inspired designs and push my illustration process in a new direction. To do that, I started a simple but effective creative exercise: writing different concepts on pieces of paper, tossing them into a hat, and randomly selecting one to illustrate.
That approach forced me to respond intuitively—no overthinking, just design.
For this piece, I focused on layering Sakura trees over a temple structure, blending architectural elements with natural forms. The pink and white gradient background was intentionally chosen to soften the structure and create contrast between strength and calm.
This design reflects my ongoing interest in combining architecture, nature, and illustration within streetwear.
